I think Paul Mitchell is a great results-getting hair brand and this product didn't disappoint. It's a great big spray, so probably not the best to pop in your bag but works well as a handy desk styler, perfect for post-work outings. Smells delish and works well on srunched or wavy hair with good hold and body.

Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray

This hair-hero certainly lives up to the hype because it transforms mediocre hair into absolutely gorgeous hair. Spritz it after towel-drying and suddenly the tricky blow-dry instantly becomes the easiest job in the world. No need for serums or any other product, hair is sleek and shiny and most importantly lovely and full.

Frederic Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texturising Spray Gel

I think this is the product I've been waiting to find! The spray is fine enough not to overload hair and it separate and styles waves for that toussled, twizzled look. The hold is amazing too and totally natural as my hair stayed in place and looked great, right until the end of the day - brilliant. This will be in my blow-dry box for a long time to come.

Sebastian Thick Ends Light Texturising Gel

I love freshly blowdried hair but sometimes can look too fluffy or a bit dated. So this product is a great hair-saver because it separates and gives an edge to ends that's perfect for modern-day dressing. It's a gel that's light enough for fine hair - just squirt onto fingers and rub together and then twizzle and twirl ends to shake them up a bit. A very close second and it's another styling staple.

Avon Lift it! Root Booster

It's cheap and cheerful and may not be in the professional's box, but does a good job at giving hair a much needed pick-me-up. If you're not looking for a big styling product and just need a little mid-morning or afternoon boost, this product is great, particularly on fine, straight hair. It has also a pleasant smell with a light, unsticky hold.
