Everyone knows designers look to the past to get inspiration for the new season's collections and this time round, so did the session stylists. At Antonio Marras hair had a distinct '20s feel, while at Tommy Hilfiger hair pins and neatly manicured waves screamed 1940s glamour. "This season it's all about a neo-classical version of styles from the past," says Peter Lux, head&shoulders creative beauty director. "From sporting a rolled up quiff à la Fendi or side parted soft waves as shown at Hilfiger, everything is allowed as long as it's got that done ‘undoneness' about it." Elsewhere Giambattista Valli went for 60s-style updos, Oscar de le Renta channelled 1970s Hollywood while at La Coste, models with side ponytails looked as though they'd just stepped out of the eighties.More hair ideas
