Beehive Beauties

Last season's most talked about updo was the fishtail plait, this season it will be the fact that the beehive is back. Not as scary as it sounds, backstage at Prada and Karl Lagerfeld, session supreme, Malcolm Edwards drew inspiration from classic beauties à la Bridget Bardot. "It was all about classic shapes with old school styling and finesse but the relaxed finish and that bit of attitude were crucial to making it modern," says Malcolm. "It's about layering hair up with product to give it guts so when you twist it back with chignon pins it stays put."
