This Sunday the cream of the crop from celebville will be gracing the red carpet in London for the Orange British Academy Film Awards (the Baftas to you and me!) and despite the forecasts for snow and sleet they will NOT be letting those glamorous hair styles get out of hand. Charles told us today that the looks this year for the Baftas are all about understated glamour and effortless elegance. His four main styles for the night are glamorous loose curls that are soft but with volume at the roots, a half-up half-down style with a beehive front, a soft updo with stray curls framing the face and finally a smooth updo with a soft parting and low side bun.
What are Charles' top tips for these looks? Well it's to prep the hair with his new volumising spray first to give it a good foundation, use your fingers to manage the hair and not a brush and finally, to use a good hold hairspray that doesn't crisp up the hair so you can still comb out your style to change it mid way through the night for maximum celebrity style effect!
