The beauty team here at Handbag Towers tries a vast number of products every month but we're always filled with glee when one truly does what it says on the bottle. And this is exactly what happened when I was invited to test out the new hair care range Ref.
Jasmine, the wonderful and very talented stylist washed my hair in the colour shampoo and conditioner before asking me how I liked to wear it - usually messy and full of texture rather than poker straight and chose the products accordingly. She applied a few squirts of Ocean Mist (a salt water spray) to create texture and, once dry, worked Shaper, a strong wax through the ends to give it great structure and hold.
Back in the office, compliments on my super shiny barnet flooded in and I resolved to take home these star products and see if they also work in the hands of a novice. And they do!
The comprehensive collection of hair care and styling products are easy to choose and use due to the clever number reference system on each product. Each product category - Hold, Shine and Volume - are numbered one to five to indicate the level of finish. So, if you want strong hold simply choose products with level four or five on the tin. Simple.
I haven't stopped using the Colour shampoo and conditioner since it came my way and my newly coloured hair still looks rich and vibrant and is soft to the touch. Plus, the simple yet stylishly designed packaging looks great in any bathroom.
