Three months.

How long to they take to apply?
The length of time depends on the style that you wish to achieve. It can take up to two hours for half a head or four hours for a full head of healthy extensions.

Can I have hair extensions if I dye my hair or have various coloured highlights already?
Absolutely! Extensions can be coloured or streaked to suit your style with no problem at all. Many salon stylists have been trained on how to treat extensions with ease.

Can people with really short hair get extensions?
Extensions are great for short hair as they can help grow out your current style and add depth where needed.

What's the after care of salon-applied hair extensions?
After your visit, clients are advised to use a non-oil based shampoo or conditioner as these can break down the hair bond. It is also essential to treat your new hair just like your own natural tresses.

Can I still wash, blow-dry and style my hair as normal? Is it OK to use electrical tools on hair extensions?
Extensions will not prevent you from continuing to with your own daily hair routine and work well with all styling tools.

Do I have to go back to the salon to remove my extensions? What do I do if one falls out?
You can re-book back into the salon for removal. Generally hair will last up to 3 months with no fall out, however if that were to occur we would ask all clients to re-visit Connect again for a consultation

What kind of damage does hair extensions do to my natural hair?
No damage will occur to your own hair as the extensions are skillfully applied under your hair, allowing your hair to breath and grow naturally.

What are the downsides of hair extensions - can it go wrong?
Hair extensions can only go wrong only if you don't go to a salon that is renowned for the installation of hair extensions. It is always advisable to check the hair salon out first before taking the plunge!
