"Id like a Frankie fringe, please" is what hairdressers up and down the country have been hearing from their customers of late.
Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays has become something of a hair icon after undergoing a hair transformation over the last few years. Once sporting a classic bob style, she's transformed from a teenage cutie to a glamorous grown-up with her highly-copied crop with that all important big, sweeping fringe. But it's not just the length that she's played with, she's unafraid of changing up the shade of her fringe too, getting steadily darker from her blonder past.

Nick Peters from Daniel Galvin hair salon, Frankie's hairdressers, spoke to us about her ever-changing locks: "I've been working with The Saturdays for a while now and we are constantly discussing alterations to their looks. As members of a girl band it's really important for them to frequently reinvent themselves. Recently Frankie decided that it was time for a change. She had had her hairstyle for a while and decided that she wanted something new. We had been talking about it for some time and, since she had had shorter hair at the beginning of the Saturdays fame, she knew it would suit her."
With girls nationwide rushing out to imitate Frankie's enviably gorgeous short hairstyles, it's important to know if this kind of look will suit you. Nick advises: "to go for this type of haircut you have to make sure that you have the right face shape to carry it off. If you have an oval face and petite features you'd be a good candidate. If you can pull all the hair off your face and you like what you see, then go for it."
