Of the masks I tried, this one was the most fun! A seriously refreshing wake-me-up in a funky bright blue tub, the peppermint scent is perfect for early-morning hair washes, and this super-rich cream made my mane instantly smoother, although the results didn't last as long as I'd hoped.

A lovely product in an attractive little tub, this mask is light, creamy and smooth and smells gorgeously subtle. Smoothed onto towel-dried hair and left for 10 minutes to work it's magic, it left my locks soft, shiny, healthier-looking and, most importantly for me, still manageable. What's more, my hair still felt just as soft and shiny two days later. I loved it!
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor

I was really looking forward to trying this mask because of all the natural hair-saving ingredients inside, including Australian balm mint and sunflower seed oil. Considering it's a quickie conditioning treatment, it really did the trick – leaving my locks looking much healthier, smoother and fuzz-free. This is perfect for high-maintenance hair that needs a good reconstructing treatment for summer.

A pretty, pale-pink cream that you comb through and leave for 5 mins. The squeezy tube made this mask really easy to use in the shower, and whilst it did leave my hair feeling soft and well-nourished, it was too soft to manage and really flyaway. Perhaps too good a moisturising mask?
L'Oréal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Intense Masque

This is a really nice mask that smells lovely and does exactly what it says on the tub. The mask itself is rich, creamy, and thick enough not to run down my face during a shower. Once dry, my hair felt super-smooth and gorgeously shiny and light-reflecting, and the results lasted for days. Great value for money too.
