How to get a bikini body like Kate Upton

Kate Upton's trainer David Kirsch shares the secrets behind that bikini body.

We loved The Other Woman for its relationship and fashion tips. But let's face it, the scene that will forever be etched in our memories is that of Kate Upton running in her white bikini on the beach.

Because, well, that picture is self explanatory. What we wouldn't give to get a bikini body like Kate Upton's in time for summer.

Lucky for us, her trainer David Kirsch has shared the actress' bikini-body secrets with Access Hollywood. Boobs not included unfortunately.

Low-carb diet


We knew there was a catch. Kate knows not to have pizza before Ibiza as she cut out all carbs, sugar and processed foods before her infamous Sport Illustrated swimsuit issue.

"She ate clean, lean protein, lots of salads and greens, and avoided everything processed. She ate small portions five times a day, roughly every three hours," David says.

Surprisingly, Kate thought she wasn't in her best shape when she filmed the running scene. Er Kate, put us in a bikini on a beach and we'll show you bad shape.

Body sculpting workouts


David wanted to tone Kate's body without compromising on her lovely curves, so they varied the type and duration of workouts, including "body weights and resistance bands, sprinting and calisthenics, shadow and kick-boxing".

Other exercises included planks, stability ball knee tucks, crunches, single leg dead lifts, platypus walks, and reverse crossover lunges. Phew!

We feel a little bit tired now.
