Sports Illustrated has just confirmed with their latest swimwear cover that boobs had their chance, this year is now all about the bum.
Models Lily Aldridge, Nina Agdal and Chrissy Teigen are seen frolicking topless together in the swimsuit equivalent of a pillow fight for the special 50th anniversary edition.
JLo kicked off the rear revolution back on the block in the 90s before handing the marketing task over to Kim Kardashian. This cover confirms this crack-pot theory in our minds.
The cover is a big coo for the models as it is seen by over 70 million readers, reports Reuters, and is the mags most widely read issue. No idea why.
The issue is famed for launching the careers of the likes of Tyra Banks and Kate Upton, who was last year's cover star.
As it is the anniversary issue, inside the mag have brought back 22 former models including 1970s supermodel Cheryl Tiegs, who said at an event last month, "Sports Illustrated models represent the girl next door, only pretty."
She added, "They are not thin. For the most part, they are very athletic and healthy. That is the image they we portray."
