The high protein, low carb diet was all the rage a few years back, but fell from grace due to it's high saturated fat content and lack of vegetables, and it has been linked to liver and kidney damage.
It's also notoriously difficult to stick to and has a range of unpleasant side effects such as bad breath, bowel problems and headaches.
Kim K has reportedly lost 30lbs since delivering North West and has been working out every day with Tracey Anderson.
But before you start reaching for the steak, medical professionals warn caution over going on the diet.
"Our worries over the Atkins diet go way past the question of whether it is effective for losing weight or even for keeping weight off," Robert H. Eckel, MD, director of the general clinical research centre at the University of Colorado Web MD.
"We worry that the diet promotes heart disease...We have concerns over whether this is a healthy diet for preventing heart disease, stroke, and cancer."
Granted she does look amazing in that cream bikini but we wonder, at what cost?
