Shakira looks a-mazing. The singer has revealed how eating a diet of eight small meals a day and doing plenty of Zumba got her back in shape seven months after giving birth.

Speaking to Self magazine, the singer refreshingly confessed, 'After the delivery, you look like a shar-pei!' and says it took daily Zumba lessons and eating a healthy diet that has got her back in 'hips don't lie' form.

'I did Zumba throughout my pregnancy, that helped me not gain too much weight,' Shakira explains. After the birth of her son Milan, she went on to do Zumba four or five mornings a week and even trained with its creator and CEO, Beto Perez.

The Columbian singer who has previously won a U.N. award for her charity work, added that, 'two minutes of ab work isn't enough,' and that hard workouts is what it takes.

Along with her training, Shakira had eight small meals a day, each under 250 calories, which were high in protein, calcium, iron, and fish oil.

'I don't obsess over my flaws, because I see my body as a whole,' Shakira says. 'Besides, I think men appreciate confidence more than perfection.' Noted.
