While it's only been 12 days since Kim Kardashian gave birth, her long time personal trainer has revealed the gruelling workout that awaits her when she goes back to the gym.

Based in Beverley Hills, A-list trainer Gunnar Peterson, says his secret workout weapon is making people push a 200-pound sled up and down a 90-foot track.

The excruciating exercise is a favourite among bodybuilders and athletes, and one that Gunnar's other clients Sofia Vergara and Halle Berry are familiar with. Although apparently it's so tough, Vergara just swears at him in Spanish the whole time, reports the Daily Mail.

The workout involves standing behind the weighted sled with handlebars, which you use to push it forward as fast as possible. It helps to strengthen core and tighten glutes.

Kim has previously used a mix of cardio interval training and strength moves to keep in shape, and when she does decide to head back to the gym – she can apparently expect more of the same with dead lifts, power squats, cardio boxing, mixed in with stints on the rowing machine.

Sounds like reason enough to take your sweet time Kim and enjoy being at home with baby Nori.
