Mike Tyson has credited going vegan with getting him off drugs and putting his health back in focus.
The former boxer explained that losing weight and getting his life back on track is all thanks to the extreme diet favoured by the likes of Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman.
'I'm not on drugs, I'm not out on the streets, I'm not in clubs. And, everything that I do now is just basically structured around the development of my life and my family,' Tyson told Oprah Winfrey for a new episode of Where are they now?
'I lost weight, I dropped over a hundred pounds. I just felt like changing my life, doing something different. And so I became a vegan. Becoming a vegan, it gave me another opportunity to live a healthy life.
Having been addicted to every vice in the book from drugs to prostitution, Tyson has previously been open about his battle with cocaine, including confessing to being high while filming The Hangover.
'I was just hard wheel, so congested from all the drugs and bad cocaine, and I couldn't hardly breathe, high blood pressure, almost dying, and arthritis.
'Once I became a vegan, all that stuff, it diminished.'
The show will air in America this week.
