If you're thinking of starting a family you might want to cancel your plans for tomorrow night.
According to research by Lovehoney, Britain's biggest online seller of sex toys, more babies are conceived on 11 December than any other day of the year.
National birth records show that 16 September is the most popular birthday in the UK, and if our maths is correct, that's 40 weeks after 11 December.
In fact, 9% of babies born in the UK are conceived during the month of December and, as a result, the top ten birthdays in the UK are all in September.
So what is it about the festive season that makes us want to get busy?
We reckon it's all those cheery songs, tidings of joy and alcoholic beverages.
However, scientists also argue that there is a medical reason why December is a baby boom month. In the winter male sperm quality is higher because of the cold weather, which means there are more of his little swimmers on the track to success.
So go forth, clear your calendar and make babies ladies (if you want one, obviously) because tomorrow could be your lucky night!
