But it seems Kim Kardashian has taken it to the next level and started on the corset diet ahead of her nuptials with Kanye West next month.
Kimmy K isn't the first celeb to follow the strict diet, as Jessica Alba credited it for her post-baby weight loss.
What is the corset diet?
Unsurprisingly, it involves wearing a corset! How long you wears yours is up to you, but the guidelines are between two and six hours a day, five days a week (Jessica Alba slept in hers).
The idea is that it limits your food intake as your stomach is drawn in, so your get fuller quicker. A non-surgical gastric band if you will.
And as the material is so thick, you sweat more, thus losing more weight.
Does it work?
The results of the Corset Diet are debatable.
While Jessica Alba swears by it and others said it helped their posture too, there are concerns over whether it messes up with the alignment of your internal organs.
Plus it looks way uncomfortable.
