Remember the gym pants, pleated skirt and fight over who got to be goal-attack of your school days? Well netball is back with a vengeance, and it's got mean.
England Netball has seen over 40,000 women return to the game in the past four years, making it the largest sport for women in the UK.
Despite being snubbed at the Olympics, the sport's profile will get a boost this year as Sky Sports are to televise the Netball Superleague, having begun with the Cathedral City Mature Lighter Fast Net Grand Prix at the beginning of January.
So what's all the fuss about?
Adult netball may be a bit more high octane than you remember from your P.E. lesson days.
With the capacity to burn up to 450 calories in an hour of playing, the sport has women returning to it for it's fat burning potential and comradery.
It's easy to step off a treadmill after five minutes, but it's much harder to whimp out of a training session or pre-scheduled match (without facing the wrath of your team mates), so a team sport is great for keeping you motivated.
All that running around will tone your legs and bum, whilst chest passes will help sculpt and strengthen your arms, chest and shoulders.
You'll also improve your core stability with all the stretching, standing on one leg while trying to make that tricky shot and leaping about you'll be doing.
Oh, and did we mention, it's really good fun too?
If you fancy trying it out, whatever your ability level, search on englandnetball.co.uk for you nearest club.
