London Fashion Week is in full swing, and it hasn't taken long for tempers to fray and gossip to spread. A stylist is said to have walked out on designer Mark Fast after he used size 12 and 14 models to showcase his knitted creations on the catwalk on Saturday.
Fast, who is well-known for his luxe bodycon designs, made the decision to use three larger sized models after working with the LFW photography project All Walks Beyond the Catwalk, which used models aged from 18 to 65 and sizes 8 to 16. It was there that he met size 12 model Hayley Dorley, who was included in his catwalk show on the weekend. Within an hour of his show, journalists were tweeting that a stylist on his team had walked out the previous day, allegedly over his decision to use the larger models.
All Walks Beyond The Catwalk aims to change the perceptions of young designers to using larger models in their shows.
What do you think? Do you think Mark Fast was right to use larger models in his London Fashion Week show?
