Leona Lewis has shelved a planned world tour to recover from splitting from her boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
Insiders say Lewis planned to tour Australia, Asia and Europe (her US leg was recently cancelled after tour-mate Christina Aguilera pulled out) but will instead return to the studio to record songs for her new album. "Leona's heart just wasn't in the tour towards the end of the UK leg. She was upset, teary and heartbroken over her split with Lou. She'd been with him for 10 years. This was the love of her life," an insider told the Sunday Mirror.
"The last thing she wanted was to be on the road away from a support network of friends and family. She wasn't up for it emotionally. She's full of ideas. She's got a new lease of life in songwriting. She's putting her heartbreak into her music."
What do you think - was Leona right to cancel her tour after heartbreak, or should she have soldiered on?
