Should unborn babies be screened for autism?

A new study linking high levels of testosterone in the womb to autism could lead to unborn babies being screened for the condition.

The news has sparked controversy because it could mean pregnancies being terminated as the result of an autism screening.

What do you think?Would you want to know if your unborn baby had autism or Asperger syndrome?

Do parents have the right to know if they will have autistic children, or should you be prepared to bring up a child regardless of its health?

Is this another step on the road to designer babies, or a sensible precaution to help parents who may have to deal with a very difficult and challenging condition?
