The course of celebrity relationships never did run smooth, but if Rihanna and Chris Brown are anything to go by, little things like assault convictions and restraining orders shouldn't get in the way of some quality one-on-one time.
Despite Chris Brown being sentenced earlier this year for assaulting the Umbrella singer, and a restraining order is in place banning him from coming within 100 yards of her, the two are reportedly planning a two-week trip to Mexico to discuss their relationship. Luckily (or not, depending on your opinion of Brown), the restraining order is not enforcable outside the US - so they will be able to get closer to each other than opposite ends of the beach.
"What happened was a shock to both of them and completely out of character for Chris," a source told Star magazine. "There was nothing they could do but split up. But they’ve kept in touch and met up in secret as they missed each other. They’ve never, ever stopped loving each other. To say Chris is completely disgusted with himself is an understatement. Now he’s been given a second chance he’s determined to make up for it.”
