Should more magazines print pictures that haven't been retouched?

It's no secret that photo-retouching takes place in the magazine industry, from removing slight skin imperfections to, in some cases, slimming down models in pictures. But all that may be about to change after nude pictures of a 20-year-old model were printed in an American fashion magazine, showing a small roll of fat around her midriff.

The small picture, which was featured amongst other retouched shots, has encouraged hundreds of women to come forward in support of 'real' beauty in the media. Shockingly, model Lizzie Miller, who features in the photos, has been told that even at 5ft 11 and weighing 12.5st, she is still too big for even plus-size work.

The picture has been praised by women all over the world, who say that more 'real' women should be shown in magazines.

What do you think? Should more 'real' women be shown in the media?
