Madonna will finally be able to take home Mercy James as the high court in Malawi has overturned an earlier ruling and granted the adoption.
Lawyers originally said that the singer would not be able to take the three-year-old home as she hadn’t been resident in the country for 18 months.
The latest ruling took into account Madonna’s charity Raising Malawi, which provides food and welfare for thousands of Malawian orphans.
