Madonna's latest attempt to adopt a second child from Malawi has been suspended after the baby's alleged father tried to gain custody.
James Kambewa has never met three-year-old Mercy, whose mother died shortly after giving birth to her, and Madonna's lawyer has accused him of being 'a chancer'.
Madonna, who was snapped wearing an audacious Louis Vuitton outfit earlier this week, adopted David Banda from Malawi in 2006 but her original attempt to take Mercy out of the country was denied.
