Jedward have lost their record deal after releasing just one single, the Daily Mail reports. The twins were signed to Sony in January and admitted at the time that they were living our dream. However, their first single, Under Pressure featuring Vanilla Ice, was beaten to the No 1 last month and dropped out of the top 10 a week later despite a huge promotional push.
However, there is hope for the brothers. Their manager Louis Walsh has confirmed he is conversation with another label. I'm completely committed to Jedward and I know they still have a great career ahead of them, he explained. The boys have a sell-out tour in Ireland that they start straight after The X Factor Tour in April and I am in talks with a major record label about a new deal for them.
What do you think? Should John and Edward have been dropped by their record label?
