Should Happy Hour and other alcohol giveaways be banned?

The Home Affairs Select Committee thinks that the police spend far too much time dealing with alcohol-fuelled crime instead of concentrating on other types of crime.

The Committee wants to see Happy Hours and other alcohol promotions banned.

The Home Office says that perpetrators were believed to be drunk in a million cases of violent attacks last year .
