There's nothing quite as disappointing as losing out at the final hurdle - and last night, it was former favourite to win Danyl Johnson who had his dream scuppered by the voting public as he became the latest contestant to be voted off the X Factor.
Despite a pitch-perfect rendition of Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror, Danyl didn't quite hit the right note with viewers, losing out to Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon and Joseph McElderry for a place in the live final.
Danyl's had a rough time of it in the competition, with rumours of arguments with the other acts and with mentor Simon Cowell, but did he deserve to be voted out so close to the final?
