The remaining 11 X Factor acts are currently nervously rehearsing for their live performances on the upcoming shows this weekend - but judge Cheryl Cole has got it a little easier if reports are believed. According to sources, she will be miming when she takes to the stage for the first performance of her long-awaited single, Fight For This Love, on the Saturday night show.
It's rumoured that the decision to pre-record her vocals is down to Girls Aloud's live performance on last year's series, which vocally wasn't completely up to scratch. With Cheryl trying to break America, it seems show bosses are keen to avoid any criticism of her talents.
The single, which is out later this month, will be recorded in front of a live studio audience, and Cheryl may sing live over the pre-recorded track in parts. But should she then return to her seat behind the desk with Dannii, Simon and Louis to judge other people singing live?
