How do you stop teenagers from having sex too young?

Alfie Patten, the 13-year-old who lost his virginity when he was just 12, is waiting for results of a DNA test to find out whether he really is the father of a one-week-old baby.

Baby-faced Alfie was named as the father of Chantelle Steadman's child last week, but since then two other teenage boys have come forward claiming they also slept with 15-year-old Chantelle.

Are you shocked by this story, or do you think sex is common amongst kids as young as 12 and 13 these days?

What can be done to stop kids having sex at such a young age? Do we need to rethink the way we educate young people about sex?

Who do you blame for allowing this to happen? The parents, the schools or are the teenagers involved old enough to take responsibility for their own actions?
