MPs have agreed to pay back more than £70,000 to the taxpayer after a series of revelations about their expenses.

MPs from all the major political parties have been affected, with some making expense claims for everything from trouser presses and light bulbs to tennis courts and chauffeurs.

What do you think? Were you shocked by the revelations about MPs' expenses?

Should there be a general election with all MPs' expenses in the public domain so the electotorate can decide which politicians are still worthy of office?
