The breastfeeding debate is back again - and this time it's a high-profile new mum who has caused controversy by claiming that all women should be made to breastfeed for the first six months of being a mum.
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen made the comments in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, where she talked about how she was able to get back her enviable figure just days after giving birth to son Benjamin Rein seven months ago, through a combination of yoga and breastfeeding.
She said: 'I think breastfeeding really helped. Some people here think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think, "Are you going to give chemical food to your child, when they are so little?"
'There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.'
However, several celebs have recently spoken out about not breastfeeding their kids - Denise Van Outen gave up after three weeks with daughter Betsy as she wasn't producing enough milk and didn't want to be seen breastfeeding in public, and newsreader Kate Garraway has also said she struggled to nurse her daughter Darcey.
