Nice guys don't always finish last - a new study has found that women are more likely to be attracted to nicer men with kind or sensitive tendencies than bad boys.
Research by a Canadian university shows that although good looks are still important to women, it is a kind heart that makes a girl go weak at the knees.
Psychologists at the McMaster University in Ontario discovered that women are much more likely to fall for the man who shows generosity and a willingness to help other people. Tests showed that men with 'altruistic' characteristics, such as working for a charity or volunteering in a hospital, were seen as 'significantly more desirable.'
