Audrey Hepburn brought back to life in amazing new Galaxy chocolate advert

Galaxy have launched a stylish new ad starring non-other than Audrey Hepburn!

Sunday 24 sees Audrey return to screens across the UK asking the nation 'Why have cotton when you can have silk?'

The ultimate screen and style icon has been brought back to life using cutting edge post-production CGI techniques, to create what appears to be never-before-seen footage of Audrey in Italy's Amalfi Coast region.

Set in the 1950s, the narrative sees Audrey, a beautiful young girl, sitting on a crowded bus wondering when she will have the chance to enjoy the chocolate bar hidden in her handbag. As a car pulls up alongside, she catches the handsome driver's eye and, to the surprise of her fellow passengers, seizes the opportunity to leave the bus and relax in the comfort of the car's back seat.

Audrey Hepburn's sons, Sean Ferrer and Luca Dotti, have said, "Our mother often spoke about her love of chocolate and how it lifted her spirit so we're sure she would have been proud of her role as the face of Galaxy. The advert perfectly captures her playful spirit and we hope audiences enjoy it as much as they enjoyed her movies."
