Not content with a blockbusting book trilogy and a successful sex toy collection, E L James is now having an impact on the wine world.
According to sales reports, the South African dessert wine, Vin de Constance, featured in Fifty Shades has seen a massive sales boom.
The £35-a-bottle wine was drunk during the masked ball in Fifty Shades Darker and fans have even been flocking to the Klein Constantia wine estate, ten miles from Cape Town, to get their hands on the tipple.
Even though Vin de Constance was featured in Dicken's best-selling novels and Jane Austen's romantic tomes, it has only seen a boost since the unstoppable 'literotica' by E L James.
The fresh and floral wine with a hint of spice is recommended with tarte tatin and creme brûlée just in case you're one of the lucky few who's got their hands on a bottle!
