It's not just that baby-faced, Bambi-eyed Alex is fit and looks cool in The Last Shadow Puppets' videos, there's something charming and Billy Elliot about the Northern lad who formed Arctic Monkeys with chums while still at Stockbridge High school in Sheffield. He is the Mark Owen of his generation with his mop of floppy hair, lean frame shoe-horned into skinny slacks and skin-tight vests. Off-stage he's all mod jackets, expensive loafers and groovy, head-to-toe designer gear. Something to do with girlfriend, Alexa Chung, we shouldn't wonder. Alex shares something in common with the cousin and fellow band member of another of our hotties line-up, Caleb Followill from Kings Of Leon. Alex co-wrote the song Fluorescent Adolescent with Johanna Bennett, from the group Totalizer, when he was dating her. She then moved on to Matthew Followill and Alex met Alexa, who we know is currently the most fashionable woman on Planet Earth.
