Stars and sequins!
I’ve been star struck twice in a week!! There was great excitement as beautiful actress Rebecca Hall (of Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Frost/Nixon fame) visited the design studio and I was able to fit her for a pair of my Long Tassel Boots in antiqued khaki and black leather and some of our velvet Dandys in khaki. Her career is really taking off with her new film Lay The Favorite playing opposite Bruce Willis and Catherine Zeta-Jones. She was off to Utah to the Sundance Film Festival and made a point of saying that she would definitely wear the boots – and she did – almost 24/7 so I hear!! She’s the perfect ambassador for my collection.
I was star struck once again when I saw the dazzling film The Artist. I just couldn't take my eyes off the shoes so I watched most of the film from the feet up!
My friends and I are all wearing my new Chachacha dance shoes (main picture) with black tights and feel very light-footed and ready to tango - a large and welcome step away from those clodhopping platforms into understated femininity with 4 inch heels I can wear all day long!
