Lily Allen to marry in Chanel
With Kate Moss reportedly hiring John Galliano to design her wedding dress and Kate Middleton allegedly walking down the aisle in Alexander McQueen, Lily Allen is the latest celebrity bride-to-be to reveal the designer creating her gown.
The pop star, who is due to marry fiancé Sam Cooper in the Cotswolds later this year, has let slip that Karl Lagerfeld will design her a Chanel wedding dress.
The singer was spotted at the label’s Paris studios yesterday afternoon and was overheard saying that she had an appointment with Lagerfeld “for my wedding dress”, according to WWD.
Wearing Chanel on her wedding day seems a natural choice for Lily. She has long been an ambassador for the French fashion house, fronting the brand’s Cocoon handbag campaign in 2009 and singing live at the barn-themed spring/summer 2010 show.
We cannot wait to see the results.
