John Galliano to design Kate Moss’ wedding dress?
While everyone hedges their bets on the name of the designer who will create Kate Middleton’s dress for her wedding to Prince William, the other famous Kate getting married this year, Moss, seems only happy to share.
According to reports, the supermodel was overheard telling friends at a Topshop dinner party during London Fashion Week that Dior designer John Galliano will design her wedding gown for her marriage to rocker Jamie Hince.
Moss and Galliano have been close friends for years so it seems a natural choice, and the pair have been spotted hanging out together a lot recently, including partying in Paris when Kate was announced as the new face of Dior Beauty.
Galliano is no stranger to designing wedding dresses for A-list superstars either. He also created Gwen Stefani’s two-tone pink dress for her nuptials to Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale in London back in 2002.
Kate and Jamie will marry on the 2 July at an undisclosed location.
We can hardly contain our excitement.
