Kate Middletons high street shopping dash
Kate Middleton shopping on the King's Road.
With the her wedding to Prince William just over a week away, royal bride-to-be Kate Middleton has been making some last-minute shopping trips for her honeymoon wardrobe.
And while she may be about to marry into the British royal family, Kate proved shes still just like the rest of us by stocking up at her favourite high street stores.
On Tuesday Kate popped into Warehouse on the Kings Road in Chelsea and left with a white lace trimmed kaftan and three summer dresses - an asymmetric feather print number, a multi-coloured bandeau style and a tropical bird print dress - all perfect sunny honeymoon attire.
Late yesterday afternoon, Kate hit the Kings Road again looking trim in a black wrap dress by one of her favourite labels, Issa, and caramel-coloured kitten heels to continue her last-minute honeymoon shopping spree. This time she headed to Whistles, where she reportedly snapped up some high-waisted polka dot trousers, a lemon yellow T-shirt and a cream blouse, before browsing the rails at the Peter Jones department store where she was spotted buying some Marc Jacobs sunglasses.
Although Kates thoughts may have turned to her honeymoon wardrobe, were still frantically trying to guess whos designing her wedding gown.
Rumours surfaced earlier this week that little-known Libélula designer Sophie Cranston was making Kates wedding dress. However, yesterday Cranston ruled herself out of the running.
A spokesperson for the designer said in a statement: For the purpose of clarification, we are not designing Kate Middletons wedding dress. We, like everyone else, can't wait to find out who is.
And theres not long to go.
