Iconic Italian brands Fiat and Gucci get together

Not content with dressing a plethora of a-list celebs, including our current style crushes Florence Welch and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Gucci creative director Frida Giannini has turned her hand to automobiles, designing a range with fellow Italian power house Fiat.

Jade Williams, aka Sunday Girl, wore Gucci as she DJ-ed last night at Fiat's London showroom, transformed into a cocktail bar for the evening, as Gucci-clad celebs including Tolula Adeyemi, Leah Weller and Bryan Ferry’s squeeze Amanda Sheppard celebrated Fiat and Gucci‘s partnership. Over cocktails, guests viewed Giannini’s customized, iconic Fiat 500 as well as a travel-inspired fashion and accessories line 500byGucci. The line includes sunglasses, watch and small leather goods, and will be sold in selected Gucci stores and online.

What about those fashion-fabulous go-faster stripes though? Surely Fiat500 by Gucci's a contender for the ultimate girl-about-town's get-about-town vehicle...
