Felder Felder's walk on the wild side
With a starry front row jam-packed with singers, musicians and models (namely Coco Sumner, Paloma Faith, Erin OConnor and Shingai Shinowa from The Noisettes) the twin sister design duo behind the label Felder Felder did not disappoint.
The spring/summer 2011 collection, inspired by an imaginary rebellious muse fascinated with the spirit of the 60s road movie Easy Rider and The Doors legend Jim Morrison, featured lots of whimsical skirts and dresses in vividly bright hues, as well as items with their signature edge think skinny black trousers and ruched rubber leggings.
The models stomped down the catwalk to a soundtrack of I Blame Cocos (Coco Sumners band) version of Steppenwolfs Born To Be Wild (famous for its use in Easy Rider), wearing dazzling sequinned mini dresses, romantic chiffon blouses, bleached suede jackets, embellished prom dresses and items with a hologramatic skeleton print all in a palette of grey, stone, black, neon pink and electric blue.
Go on, take a cue from Felder Felder and rebel.
