Claudia and Roland to judge Fashion Fringe 2011
The Fashion Fringe design competition is one of the most eagerly-anticipated events in the fashion calendar, and this years contest is set to get even more glamorous.
News reaches us that supermodel Claudia Schiffer and designer Roland Mouret will judge this years Fashion Fringe. The starry duo will follow in the footsteps of previous judges John Galliano and Donatella Versace to join Selfridges managing director Anne Pitcher, Roy Peach from the London College of Fashion and Bel Jacobs from the Metro newspaper on the judging panel.
Together the judges will pick this years finalists, who will show their collections during Fashion Fringe at London Fashion Week spring/summer 2012 in September, and then select a winner. They will receive a two-year development package, including a cash prize, business mentoring and a studio at Somerset House to help them build and sustain their fashion brand.

The Fashion Fringe initiative, now in its seventh year, was launched to help find and nurture undiscovered British fashion design talent. Previous winners of the Fashion Fringe prize include Erdem, Basso & Brooke and last years winner Corrie Nielson.
