Emma Watson for Alberta Ferretti launches today
Fresh from the release of her third and final collection for People Tree, Emma Watson’s latest fashion venture, with Alberta Ferretti, launches today.
The Harry Potter star has teamed up with the Italian designer to create an ethical fashion line, called Pure Threads, in the style of ‘60s icon Jane Birkin.
The summery capsule collection features five easy-to-wear pieces - two dresses, a long skirt, denim shorts and a shirt - with lace inserts and embroidery in a palette of white, black and blue echoing Ferretti’s signature feminine and romantic style.
All items in the range, which will be sold exclusively online through the Alberta Ferretti website, are made using ecological materials, with a portion of all proceeds generated donated to the People Tree Foundation – an environmental organisation that oversees fair trading.
Prices start at £220 for a pair of shorts rising to £704 for a black dress.
