Alexa Chung for Madewell

by Jemma Tibbals
The Alexa Chung for Madewell range has launched in America.

Mini overalls, velvet high-waisted shorts and the dreamiest coat I swear I have ever seen. This is just a few of the highlights from the Alexa Chung for Madewell collection, and there are many, many more if you just care to feast your eyes here: www.madewell.com.

Or perhaps don’t. Unless you like the idea of being confronted with the perfect coat/skinny jean/blouse only to find out you can’t have them. Alexa Chung for Madewell is only stocked in the US. Granted, Madewell is a thoroughly American brand but it seems strange that our very own It Brit has shunned the British market.

The only thing taking the edge off the longing for that coat is that Gap have announced today a collaboration with Valentino, which will not be sold in the US.

Me, petty? Never.
