Cult label Acne celebrate their pre-collection at Browns

Last night cult Swedish brand Acne threw a small bash to celebrate the arrival of their pre-collection at Browns boutique. At the moment, the fashion world is crazy in love with Acnes covetable slouchy knits, asymmetric dresses, leather trousers and signature denim styles. Likewise, Browns is Londons go-to boutique for all things designer; owner Joan Burnstein, a.k.a. Mrs B, has been in the business of fashion for longer than most of us have been alive, and is a bona fide style icon.
It was an all round elegant evening, with a mixture of bloggers, journos and style icons perusing the rails of Acnes latest offerings; Susie Bubble could be seen snapping away, as was famous street style photographer Candice Lake (who papped yours truly in this bright orange mohair number from the Acne pre collection). While we ogled the amazing fashion on show, waiters wearing tuxedo trousers that had been chopped into short shorts (oo-er!) kept the champagne flowing and a trio of jazz musicians created an avant-garde atmosphere. There was a general feeling of love for this super cool label - its edgy but wearable, and once you fall for Acne, theres clearly no going back!
