Penélope is rumoured to be expecting a baby with boyfriend and fellow actor Javier Bardem. Pictures of the Madrid-born actress clasping her tummy after the Berlin premiere of her latest film, Broken Embraces, with the film's director Pedro Almodóvar have only added to the speculation that she is four months pregnant. What's more, the actress who previously dated Tom Cruise (with whom she co-starred in Vanilla Sky in 2001) recently quit smoking, sending the rumour mill into overdrive. Cruz met Bardem, who she has dated for two years, back in 1992 when they co-starred in the Spanish film Jamón, Jamón. The pair went on to appear on-screen together again in Live Flesh and more recently in the Woody Allen-directed Vicky Cristina Barcelona, famous for its lesbian kiss between Penélope and Scarlett Johansson.
