This week saw our best-dressed celebs get together with their American counterparts for Coachella Festival in Palm Springs, and there wasn’t a cagoule in site. That said, the guaranteed Californian sunshine makes it a lot easier to be stylish than the UK alternative – a weekend in a ditch.
If you’re lucky enough to find yourself at an international festival this summer, the order of the day is West Coast-chic meets indie girl charm, but with a dash more glamour than your standard UK festival. Sequins are suddenly acceptable, as are denim cut-off shorts, but leave your Wellington boots and anorak at home. You won’t need them, and it leaves plenty of room for fabulous accessories.
