Radley raids the V&A print archives

Radley and V and A museum handbags

Radley are well known for their elegant, British-made handbags and accessories, and London’s famous Victoria & Albert museum is one of our favourite places to while away an afternoon, so we were very excited to hear this latest snippet of fashion news. For the new season, Radley have collaborated with the V&A to re-work three famous English heritage prints for an exclusive collection of bags.

From the vast archives housed in the V&A museum, Radley selected three prints which capture the spirit of their brand. ‘Dancing Ladies’, ‘Champagne Bubbles’ and ‘Wey’ by famous print designer William Morris have all been re-imagined in a contemporary style that works perfectly with the classic designs from Radley. We particularly like the William Morris ‘Wey’ print bags; a deep jewel coloured floral motif with rose gold highlights – perfect for carrying a sketchbook and a flask of tea as you take in the artefacts at one of London’s most inspirational cultural destinations.
