Glastonbury the great
The original and the greatest, Glastonbury is the festival to end all festivals, but boy when its wet, its wet. Despite an explosion of similarly hippy-inspired events in recent years, Glasto retains a soft spot in music aficionados hearts, and its unique anything goes vibe, whether its dancing to Kylie on the Pyramid stage or lying semi-naked in the Green Fields while bongs thrum.
When planning for Glastonbury, wellies should be the first consideration then build upwards from your toes. The weekend, especially if it rains, does require camping-savvy garb but make sure you inject plenty of fun for all the dress-up opportunities; a prom dress is a must for impromptu tea dances in the field, as is fun fur for a dose of glamour (or just plain silliness).
We say pack a glamorous waterproof to keep dry till youre back in your tent and then hope that the sun shines anyway!
