If any festival has an aristo pedigree, it’s Port Elliot (21-24th July, held at St Germans in Cornwall). Run by Peregrine and Catherine St Germans (once described by The Times at Lord and Lady Cool), this literary/music/foodie festival does a great line in boho luxe chic.
A hint of hippy style is fine – think floral prints, luxe kaftans and floppy hats – but don’t leave your tent without your Hunter boots or Barbour jacket. It’s just not the done thing.
